Last Post (for now)

Just letting you know I'm still alive, for anyone who cares. The new doctor is helping me a lot. I'm very busy with school, and I don't have much time for this right now. I may pick it back up in the summer if I get bored, or update sporadically when I feel like it.

I will leave you with this clip. Ohmigoodness, this is the bestest cover song ever!!! This guy has such a great voice. Kudos to these guys for making a kids' song sound very grown-up!!! :D

Three Snow Days, Two Snow Storms, and a Blog Post in a Pear Tree

Okay, so I'm not actually posting this from a pear tree, but we were hit by 2 snow storms that resulted in a 3-day weekend followed by a 4-day weekend, for a total of 3 snow days in just over a week. So lots of fun in the snow, lots of adventures and such. I have heard and seen lots of interesting things over the last couple of weeks. This video is just one of the many funny ones I've seen recently. I hope you enjoy!

One of my friends shared this with me. (Yes, I actually have friends.) I think the best part is the KFC part. What do you think? :)

New Things for a New Year

So I found a new psychiatrist. This one is much better so far. I've only met with her once (that's right, her), but she is much easier to talk to than Dr. Crazypants. This may be due to the fact that she is also a woman, but she also seems more laid-back and much more practical.

Anyways, I told her about the blog and how I decided to expand it and make some changes. She said that sounded like a great idea, but if I really liked the Sesame Street clips, I should keep including those too. I agreed, so I will be posting those from time to time. Today's clip however is not Sesame Street related at all, but it is hilarious.

There are several of these videos and most of them are just as funny. I recommend "Soup Kitchen in My Pants" which is in the related videos. Oh, and parents, this is no longer a kid friendly website... if it ever was.

Ch-ch-ch-changes...

I am listening to Revis and feeling very emo right now. My posts aren't getting comments anymore. I wonder if anyone is even reading this besides my psychiatrist.

I told him I feel like I'm slipping into a deeper depression. He told me to calm down. He said it's good that I'm feeling depressed rather than suicidal. He said it's a baby step in the right direction. He said I should keep taking baby steps to recover from this depression. "Baby steps?! BABY STEPS!!!???" I screamed. "What about Bob?!?!?!" I then fled from his office.

I don't think I can see that quack anymore. I hope he reads this because I am through with him. Maybe I'll find another doctor, a better one who doesn't copy his methods from a MOVIE.

Now that I have escaped Dr. Terrible (b/c Dr. Horrible would be a compliment), I've decided to expand this blog to include more than just Sesame Street related things. I would like to post other videos I find that I think are funny or interesting or whatever.

I have also realized that since no one likes me anyways, I'm going to start making my own choices and like what I want to, not just the popular stuff. I am so fed up with the world. Maybe I should find a new doctor now before I start to fell any worse. Until next time, this is Emo Elmo saying READ MY F***ING BLOG!!!

Side Note

Okay, so this has nothing to do with Sesame Street, but it's something I noticed a long time ago and I have to do something about it.

Hamster Dance totally ripped off the first song from the Disney version of Robin Hood. Skeptical? Watch these two videos and judge for yourself.

Bringing in the New Year (and some fishies) with Bert & Ernie

Hello fellow web surfers. I know it's been a while since my last post, but I have been away from the internet for a while. I went home for Christmas and actually had a fairly decent time visiting family and friends. Now I'm back on campus, and it's very quiet around here. Classes don't start until Monday, and most students won't be back until Sunday. Some people will be back tomorrow and Thursday, and some people are already here for various reasons. I came back early to spend New Year's Eve with a friend or two, but I ended up spending it alone. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, life sucks after all. On a slightly better note, I got a cool new camera phone with Qwerty keypad, mp3 player, bluetooth, etc. for Christmas.

On a totally different note, I was browsing through my old posts, and I realized that although I had an Ernie video, I didn't really have one with Bert & Ernie. This was the first one to come up in my youtube search, and it's also one I remember from childhood. I always thought it was funny because I loved fishing as a kid, and I knew it couldn't actually work. Hope you get a laugh or two out of this, I am still too depressed about New Year's to laugh at all.
