10 days. In 10 days this job will already be over, and I will be on my way home. With so much work left on our current show, I can barely grasp this concept. I can hardly wait to get home, see my family & pets, and pay a visit to at least one dear friend, and hopefully many others.
10 days. In just under 10 days, I will be unemployed. I don't have a another job lined up yet. I don't know where I will be working next. Hopefully, I can get by living at home for a while until my next job comes along. I would like to get my own place, or share an apt./house with friends, but that would require finding a semi-permanent or permanent job and a place to live.
10 days. A lot is going to happen in the next 10 days. I may not get to write on here again until after I get back home. I am looking forward to having some time off. I just hope I can get another good job in the not-too-distant future. For now, enjoy your summer, and this video. :-D
What a cool dog! :-)

Unpainted Lines? Not for Long!
This summer job is flying by! I thought 2 months would be a long time to be away from home, but now that I will be home in about 3 weeks (:-D!) it seems much shorter. I'm still having a great time up here, and I know I will miss it when it's over. I just hope I can find a full-time/year-round job to start this fall. If not, maybe I can find something related to theatre or the arts in AR.
Since I work so much, I haven't been writing a lot. I did write a short poem a few days ago. Thought I would share it here. Enjoy! Comments/critiques welcome, even if you have to send them to me via facebook! :-D

I found a tangled web of unpainted lines
And painted them all in spite of
The pain in my arms and back.
My hand could barely grasp the brush.
Still, it can barely grasp this pen.
But I painted them all,
As I will write all of these words.
And I will do it all again,
For there is no stopping now that I'm going.
Now that I'm knowing all the things that I know.
The ladders I've climbed,
The words that I've rhymed.
All etched on a sacred scroll.
Now the bells begin to toll
As the clock strikes ten.
Time for a not-so-long drive home.
Tomorrow, we'll do this all again.
Also wrote this quote (same day) "For in the dark there are flashes of brilliance, moments of true understanding, and revelations which can change the way we see the world. Open your eyes and mind so that you may catch them." --SilveRSt*R
Oh, and here's a video to make you smile ;-)
